I'm done!!!!!

With my class, that is. The last assignments have been mailed out, the final exam completed and sent in, the book has been read and put on the shelf.
And this was the last of my requirements for ordination. I'm glad, actually, that the last class I took happened to be one of the hardest. I feel like a long distance runner who sprinted the last fifty yards to the finish line.
Well, maybe more like a middle-distance runner who really hustled the last couple of yards or so.
Anyway, point is I'm done.

Now I'm really looking forward to ordination this spring.

This is for Josh

In January of 2008 we bought boots for Joel and today we went out and bought him a new pair. Same boots. Same store.

Winter Beard?

Joel decided to grow a beard . . . he started three weeks ago. It's four different colors. Do you see the gray hair? He is so wise.

Winter nap

Obadiah fell asleep one day on these chairs in front of the computer. He was there for some time.

Hypothetically speaking . . .

Say you were offered your choice of a CD by one of the following artists. You know nothing about the music except what you can infer from the artist and title. Which would you choose?

"Dropkick to the heart" by The High Upon Highs

"Death to Seltzer" by Ronny Lighthouse

"A Comprehensive List of the People I Hate" by Veronica Sears

or

"Creamsicle" by The Pleasant Valley Barbers

Just curious.

Status Update

This morning, Elisabeth came up to me and asked, "Mom, is it possible to have the stomach bug without throwing up? My stomach hurts."
