Hypothetically speaking . . .

Say you were offered your choice of a CD by one of the following artists. You know nothing about the music except what you can infer from the artist and title. Which would you choose?

"Dropkick to the heart" by The High Upon Highs

"Death to Seltzer" by Ronny Lighthouse

"A Comprehensive List of the People I Hate" by Veronica Sears

or

"Creamsicle" by The Pleasant Valley Barbers

Just curious.

Just as I suspected

I would probably go with the Sears album and end up regretting it. Are these real or did you make them up?

What do you think, John? And what would you guess the genres of music are?

I know you have the capacity to make up singers and song titles this original and dead on; but I imagine they're real - I really don't know. The genres. . . I see them all as kinda adult alternative with the possible exception of brother lighthouse who is content to rage and stew about the machine with a James Taylor type vibe. I think I would probably like all these songs - The High Upon Highs is cool for sure.
