Proverbs 32:1

I love pithy epigrams and such. I really enjoy the book of Proverbs and it's a staple of my devotional reading.
There are some more recent proverbs that almost deserve Solomon's signature.
Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.
Earn all you can, keep all you can, and give all you can. - John Wesley.
And then last night at prayer meeting my friend Persis (who is in her late eighties) shared that her mother used to say "After breakfast work a while. After lunch rest a while. And after dinner walk a mile."
I'm going to try and do that for a week to see how it goes.
