Go Antonio's Pizza!

The kids are playing soccer every Saturday morning with the local school. They are divided by ages and learn skills and the basic rules of the game. There are no teams but our family decided that our team name was Antonio's Pizza. Do we have such a pizza place in the area? No. We just are Antonio's Pizza. Go Antonio's Pizza!Elisabeth is in the fourth grade group (which is the oldest group) and is the only girl. She holds her own. Her team scrimmaged today and she was the only one who scored. She scored twice! I wish I had recorded her goals but I was in a conversation with another mother at the time. At one point, she got possession of the ball midfield and then took off down the field, with everyone chasing her, then with one powerful kick . . . GOAL!

Grace is behind Elisabeth's group. She is wearing the dark shirt with a sweatshirt tied around her waist. Grace did not have a good soccer day today . . . that is all I will say about that.

Here are my soccer players walking down to the field. Isn't VT beautiful!

Lucy looking shy.
Lucy passing the ball.
Lucy thinking about who she will pass to next. It's a hard decision to make.
