The Visit of Northern Regression

A week from today we will be leaving Vermont, at 4am, for Augusta, Georgia . . . no overnight stops, four kids, lollipops, twizzlers, movies, moxie, juice boxes, baby potty, cooler, PB & jam and lots of, "Are we there yet?"

Oh those, are we there yet's. The most memorable travel comment in my memory of my generation of Tate family was from our move from Villisca to Bellingham when brother Barry said "Ask God to turn off the sun." It was evidently hot and bright. He was not quite two at the time. Even at that age, he knew who was in control of things.
